I started putting Date, Title/Description/Episode Download at the beginning of each podcast entry. Like at Podcast 75. Do you think this is a good or bad idea? And what needs changing?

Looks great to me. I was thinking we could also have a Miscellaneous section at the bottom for random show notes including Dino segments, email and voicemail questions/answers. Thoughts?

Yeah, good idea. Does that mean we should have a Segments section and a Miscellaneous section? I.e. segments for the frequently occurring stuff like Dino segments, interview, not vegan yet etc and a Misc for the truly random stuff that's specific to that show? (ETA: I consistently forget to sign my name; no big now, but it will be when this grows larger ;) )

I like the idea of a Segments section. What are you thinking for order? I was thinking

• Summary
• Episode Links
• Segments
  • Dino
  • Email
  • Voicemail
• Miscellaneous

I think things like the music played during the show could go under misc. I always forget to sign my name too :)

Sounds good. I'll keep going as is, and then start adding the segments when that's done b/c adding the segments will probably also involve re-listening.

What way do we think it would be best to do this?

- Create different category pages in which we list/describe the applicable episodes? That is, don't necessarily create individual pages for each episode.

- Create individual pages for each episode, and then use the wiki's category page functionality to index them and their segments/content?

I'm not sure if that made sense, but I just wanted to get done pat how this will be down before I get kicking :). I think the second option, though it will be more work, it'll also save us from having to reorganise the content when the wiki becomes more fully fledged.

Personally I like the second option. That way we can have more detail per episode. I also really like the idea of utilizing the categories. I think that will be important as the wiki grows.

Agreed. Btw, I'm thinking maybe just entitling the episode pages with their number. For example, #1, #2 etc. Or can you think of a better way?

That sounds good to me. I was actually thinking that I would just go back and redo the this page and change it to an unordered list with internal links to the numbers. I think we should still keep the links to the actual podcast page though? So an example would be:

• #1 - Welcome to Vegan Freak Radio

What do you think? This seems to fit well with what you are suggesting and doesn't get rid of all of the work I've done :)

Looking at it again, I don't think you can have # at the beginning of the link. # is used for anchors, is that what you were trying to do? If not, we will need to come up with a slightly different naming scheme. Perhaps Podcast #1 ?

So it would be:

• Podcast #1 - Welcome to Vegan Freak Radio

Yeah, I was just trying to temporarily number them somehow. The way it is now looks excellent to me - very clear and logical. And, definitely keep the Podcast Episodes with the external links you originally had so that users have the option to get more info or to go straight to the external blog entry.
